Our fully equipped studio at Kestrel Printing Limited uses the latest modern technology which includes proofing and workflow facilities to allow you, the customer, peace of mind when either supplying or signing off your artwork for print. Computer to plate facilities enable the fast turn round time from Studio to Production.

Our team of qualified studio operatives can work from your instructions, whether it is setting from your copy supplied or working from a draft plan. Our studio works in Quark Xpress, Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. If files are supplied in Microsoft Word or Excel, there may be extra costs involved to convert these files as these are not print ready formats. Where possible we would ask for bespoke logo's or terms and conditions to be supplied, but if this is not possible, they can be recreated in-house before we send you a proof. Proofs are either sent as a PDF file via the E-mail or as a digital proof by 1st class Royal Mail.

In the event of you wishing to supply your own artwork or if you are using a design house and you wish them to supply the artwork, please follow the simple guidelines below to enable us to action your requests for the quickest turn around possible.

Please supply your artwork in the formats listed below to sales@kestrel-printing.co.uk. Also include a Purchase order and any specific instructions that you may have relating to your job.

File Formats
Files should be supplied as either spot colours or CMYK with a minimum resolution of 300dpi as an EPS, JPEG, TIFF or PDF. When supplying a PDF please note that it should have all fonts embedded and saved as a high resolution file.

Where files are supplied as RGB please note that when these are converted to CMYK for the purpose of printing, there will be noticeable changes in colour conversions, as not all RGB colours can be reproduced using CMYK printing formats.

If a job requires bleed (where an image of any kind overlaps the outside edge of a job) then please ensure that this is added to any artwork sent. We would normally recommend 3mm bleed to be added in the event of it being needed.
