Design Services - Kestrel Printing

ARTWORK

Our fully equipped Studio at Kestrel Print Limited utilises the latest technology to provide our customers with a full studio service.

Our team of qualified and experienced operatives design, set from copy, set from draft copy as well as receive print ready artwork from you or your design team.

We work in the following formats:

Illustrator
Quark Express
Indesign
Photoshop

If you or your design team are supplying artwork to us, how do the files need to be supplied?

By email or by disk in these formats

Spot colour (pantone) or CMYK with a minimum resolution of 300dpi
PDF, EPS, JPEG or TIFF
Fonts must be embedded and saved as a high resolution file
If there is bleed, then please ensure at least 3mm is added
For RGB when converted to CMYK, there will be a vast colour difference
If files are supplied in Word/Excel there may be additional costs to convert

If Kestrel Print Limited design or set artwork for you:

Where possible, it would be advantageous to supply;
A clear brief,
Logos,
Guidelines (if available),
Samples,
Images/Copy for text, including T’s & C’s

Cost to create artwork will be supplied as a quote for approval before any artwork creation is commenced
Cost includes 3 proof stages
Proofs can be supplied as hard copy digital proofs or by email in pdf format. (If you require a wet-proof, then the team can confirm additional costs to do so)
Any additional proof stages required are charged at standard studio rates which can be confirmed, depending on how long is required

Studio Processes: easy as 1, 2, 3…

Supply your artwork with your order as outlined above
We pre-flight check your file and proof back to you in pdf format for final sign-off
Approved? We go to print…. And await your delivery.
